Peer Workforce Development

No cost CPRS course for individuals currently working or volunteering as a recovery coach, peer recovery specialist, or as a supervisor or manager of these roles but have not yet taken a CPRS course.

It is time to get trained!

There is a continuing and troubling trend for individuals to be working as a peer recovery specialist or as a supervisor or manager of peer recovery specialists, but they have not yet taken a CPRS course. Mainstream Recovery has secured private funding for a limited amount of individuals to support the development of the Peer Recovery Support Workforce here in New Jersey. We invite eligible individuals to take the course at no cost. Please note the role of behavioral health technicians, or “techs” do not uniformly align with the role of a peer recovery specialist.
